Came to the USA between 1638-1642 on the ship "Diligent" from Norwich, Norfolk Co., England and settled first at Hingham, Massachusetts. He moved to Nashaway, Lancaster Co., Massachusetts and became one of the largest proprietors of the town. He petitioned for its incorporation in 1654.
