Notes for George "Tommy Farmer" Best

Tommy took on the name Farmer. He was a boxing manager. He managed Manual Ortiz, the fly weight champion of the world. He was friends with Fred Allen and had a house called Allen's Alley. He lived in Hollywood and was friends with Mae West, who visited his home frequently. He shot himself in the head (gun in his mouth). Despondent about living alone and no one visiting him, "even the meals-on-wheels stopped coming."
