Larry was married to Josephine Best and had 3 children; H. Irene, George and Lorraine. He worked for the Herald Examiner a newspaper in Los Angeles. He was a linotype operator and retired in the early 1960s. He live in Los Angeles most of his adult life, but move to South Gate in the early 1950s. He lived there until his death. His wife survived him by 9 years. He enjoyed life and was a good dancer. He held many parties and had family and friends over frequently. He was a pioneer in radio while in Boston in the 1910-1920 years, but never entered the field full time. He dabbled in the field all his life. He liked to take Sunday drives and vacations by auto.
