Thomas, Ann, along with their sons and several of Samuel Jr's children moved to southwestern Pennsylvania in the early 1770s and founded the town of Brownsville, PA.
!DAR line 40233: "Thomas Brown served in the militia of Prince George Co, MD, where in 1709 he was born." Elsewhere it is referred to as the Committee of Safety. The death date given in these records is the death date of his son, Thomas Brown Jr.
