George was born in Boston and moved to Los Angeles in the early 1920s. He worked for Shell Oil Company as a Data Processing Manager until he retired in the 1970s. He was in the 2nd World War, in the Army.

Around One AM of the 8th of October 1998, George passed away after an illness that lasted about a year. He hadn't been in the greatest of health for the last 5 years of his life. He spent the last few days in St. John's Hospital and Health Center; 1328 22nd St.; Santa Monica, CA 90404-2032 He was cremated and his ashes were scattered in the Pacific Ocean.
