!Karen Bowdish: Records of Cyrus and Mary Ella show Asa married to Elizabeth Walton who was born in 1756 and died on 7 July 1815; but they show the son Asa (b. 1791) married to Mulkins. By cross checking with researchers of the Mulkins line it shows that Asa BOWDISH married Elizabeth Mulkins in 1779. Elisabeth was daughter of John MULKINS Jr. and Ruth BUTLER. Elisabeth was born 26 Apr 1757 Asa served in the Revolution from 6 July to 8 December 1780 and from 1 July 1781 to 17 November 1783.

!Farnham states that Asa BOWDISH married Lucy SWEET, but no records have been found to prove this.
