!US Census 1850 (16 October) Pennsylvania, Jefferson Co., Warsaw Township, Roll M432_786, Page 31, lines 24-29: Asa Bowdish (b. 1793 - 57 - in NY - Occ: Farmer - Property Value $500) married to Margaret (b. 1794 - 56 - in NY). Children listed (born in NY) are: Joseph (son b. 1825 - 25 - Occ: Farmer); Warren (son b. 1827 - 23 - Occ: Farmer); and George (son b. 1830 - 20 - Occ: Farmer). ALSO LISTED is: Sarah Cavanova (b. 1832 - 18 - in PA)

!Jefferson Co, PA....Her People and Pioneers: He was a shoemaker and also did teaming, following the latter occupation principally after his removal to Warsaw Township. He died about 1854, when past middle life and was buried in the Temple graveyard near Hazen.
