Notes for Albert Neal Bowdish

!Karen Bowdish: Al was fire chief of the Brookville Fire Dept. for fourteen
years and a veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Honor Guard at the funeral
of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (while a private in the US Army). While
working as a custodian at Clarion State College, he passed away of a heart
attack. He was a member of the Brookville United Methodist Church and in the
Fraternal Order of Eagles.
There were no children from his first marriage to Dorothy Wells.
Kathryn (Kay) was employed by GC Murphy Co. for more than 25 years. She was a
member of the Brookville Ladies Auxiliary and also the Rebeccas.
