!SOURCE - Five Genealogies of Bowdish and Bowditch Families in America...by Cyrus and Maryella Bowdish:Elizabeth was born November 25, 1807 at Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts. She died January 16, 1892.
Nathaniel was a conveyancer and trustee. He was the author of articles on genealogy, land titles, etc. He transcribed many volumes of land titles preserved by the Massachusetts Historical Society. He was graduated A. B. Harvard 1822, A. M. Harvard also. In 1839, he wrote about his father's life, which was prefixed to the 4th Volume of the translation of La Place "MECANIQUE CELESTE". They lived in Rochdale, Worcester Co., Massachusetts in 1896.
