This is my last will and testament.
I will unto my beloved wife, Prissilla, my plantation whereon I now live, with all my stock, farming utensils, with the household and kitchen furniture, during her life or widowhood. If she should marry, she will take a child's part. The balance left amongst my children. First, giving unto them of my children which has had nothing the amount of property [as those] which have left me. Then the balance to be divided equally. This will legally authorizes my wife Prissilla to sue or be sued to receive in money or pay out the same as myself.
In testimony thereof I have set my hand and affixed my seal this seventeenth day of November, 1839.
