Children listed (born in IL) are: Maria (dau b. 1831 - 19); Leodicia (dau b. 1834 - 16); Mary (dau b. 1836 - 14); Daniel Brashear (son b. 1840 - 10); Clark (son b. 1842 - 8); Rose A. (dau b. 1844 - 6); Findley (son b. 1846 - 4); Martin (son b. 1848 - 2); and Guy (son b. 1849 - 1)

!According to Riley Brashear, now decd, the log cabin located south of Palestine, IL, north of Heathsville, belonged to Elias Brashear. The cabin was originally built by _____ Miller, west and a little north of Heathsville, according to Camilla Miller Parker. In the 1890's, Elias Brashear bought the cabin, disassembled it log by log, and moved it from the John Hay property south of Heathsville to its present location.
