JOHN WORTHINGTON3 JR (CAPTAIN JOHN2 WORTHINGTON, REV JOHN1) was born January
12, 1688/89 in St Margarets Parish, Anne Arundel Co, Md, and died December 12,
1763 in Anne Arundel Co Maryland. He married (1) HELEN HAMMOND January 08,
1712/13 in St Paul's Parish Baltimore Co Md by Rev William Tibbs Rector,
daughter of COL HAMMOND and REBECCA LARKIN. He married (2) COMFORT HAMMOND Bef.
1728, daughter of JOHN JR and ANN GREENBERRY.

Will of John Jr- to daughter Sarah Dorsey, the homestead Wyatt's Harbor &
Wyatt's Hills. To son John, Worthington's Fancy & Worthington's Beginning & p/o
Duvall's Delight, Food Plenty & other tracts bought of Orlando Griffith, some
2650 acres, Whiskey Ridge at Liberty, Frederick Co. To son Charles, Hunting
Ground, Ridgely's range, BrokenGround, Howard & Prters Fancy, Abington adjoing,
some 950 acres. To Samuel 1000 acres, Welsh's Cradle in Baltimore Co. To son
Thomas, 3 tracts on the Patapsco, some1680 acres. To Elizabeth Dorsey Todd's
Risque & Andover. To granddaughtervHelen Lynch 60 Pounds. To grandsons, John &
William, sons of William deceased, Whisky Ridge on the Linganore, 700 acres.
