Arrived at Patuxent, in the Maryland Colony, aboard the sailing ship, Constant Friendship 19 July 1674. Also, listed as passengers, were: Mrs. Anne Greenberry, their two infant sons, and three servants.
According to Maryland Land Warrants, Annapolis Land Office, Liber 15, folio 837 and Liber 18, folio 160, Nicholas was granted a warrant for 350 acres of land located in Providence (now, Annapolis) 29 Jul 1674.
Later, in 1680, Nicholas bought another tract of land near Providence, called Fuller, from Colonel William Fuller. This land was resurveyed and renamed Greenberry Forest. Nicholas called the home Whitehall. In later years, his home became the residence of Horatio Sharp, governor of the Maryland Colony. Sharp had a Georgian mansion built on the site. Today, it is still called Whitehall.
