Notes for Martha Patricia "Patty" Brashear
!Charles Brashear (SDSU): a veteran of the War of 1812. Martha is called "Polly" in Bullitt Marriage Book A, p.21 (that may be "Patty" without the t's crossed). In her application for bounty land as a widow of an 1812 Vet (Bounty Land Claim #24724), she is called Polly in one place and Patsey in another. In her father's will, she was "Patty." In the 1850 census, Daviess Co, KY (#308), "Patsy" Lashbrook is apparently a widow, age 52, with children Samuel, Elbert, and Tabitha at home.
