Notes for Thomas Harwood

!Anne Arundel County Gentry by The Harwood Family, pg 55: "Thomas Harwood settled in Prince George's County on " Basingthrop Hall", later known as Harwood Hall, which he had received at the death of his father as the son and heir. The plantation had been patented on July 19, 1670, by Edward Isaacke, Gent., for 460 acres. It lay in then Calvert County on a branch of Bowie;s Creek on the west side of the North Bank of the Patuxent adjoining the plantations of Thomas Bowdle and Francis Swanston."
