Trout (b. 1850 - 30 - in VA - Occ: Postmaster - Fa: VA and Mo: VA) married to Mary R. (b. 1850 - 30 - in VA - Fa: VA and Mo: VA). Child listed is: Marvin A. Trout (son b. 1879 - 1 - in VA). ALSO LISTED are: Rebecca C. Hall (sister-in-law b. 1856 - 24 - in VA - Occ: Teaching School - Fa: VA and Mo: VA); Virginia G. Hall (sister-in-law b. 1859 - 21 - in VA - Fa: VA and Mo: VA); Martha Redman (b. 1863 - 17 - in VA - Occ: Nurse - Fa: VA and Mo: VA); and Mary E. Taylor (b. 1856 - 24 - in VA - Occ: Cook - Fa: VA and Mo: VA).

After an illness of several weeks, following a stoke of paralysis, Rebecca died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frederick White, 1737 Lanier Place, District of Columbia. On March 16 1931, she was buried beside her husband in the Prospect Hill Cemetery at Front Royal, VA

She was an active member of the Confederate Memorial Association both at Falls Church and at Front Royal, VA., a member of the United Daughters of the Confedercy, and a direct descendant of Colonel Churchill Gibbs of the Revolutionary Army.
