From Obituary: Friends from far and near came to Lingle Sunday afternoon to pay last respects . The casket was heaped with beautiful floral offerings as a token of the esteem. Rev. Bicksler preached the funeral sermon and music was rendered by the choir. A mile long procession followed to the Torrington cemetery. She was born in Johnson Co., Nebraska. Daughter of Mr. & Mrs. GP Millard, the later who passed away 3 years ago. Her 3 sons Gene of Midwest, Earl of Sterling Colorado and Lee of Lingle. She was a member of the Baptist church at Hanston Kansas. She is survived by her sons, her husband, father, four brothers and one sister; Clarence, Edward and Alva Millard of Arkansas City, Kansas. Alman Millard of Harper Kansas and May Millard of Oklahoma City Oklahoma. She departed on 7 May at 6:30 am 1925 (Thursday). Funeral services were held in Lingle Sunday Afernoon and internment was made in the Torrington Cemetery.
