Nathaniel Chapman Weems was on half pay as a soldier in 1782. There is some evidence that he was on Washington's staff.

Weems, Nathaniel C., died Sun. night 13th inst., by an attack of the gout in his stomach, at his seat near Billingsley, near Upper Marlborough.
