Notes for John Julius Leandre Guenveur

Julius J. Guenveur died Saturday noon at the home of his brother in law, Joseph Cannon, Lancaster Pike. Although confined to the house for several years, Mr. Guenveur had been fairly active. He was stricken ill Friday.
Mr. Guenveur retired as an employee of the Trump Brothers Machine Company, 20 years ago. He was born in South Carolina and had been a resident of this city for more than 60 years. His wife the late Mrs. Mary Jane Guenveur, nee Cannon, died here about five years ago.
Two sons, J.LaPenne Guenveur, attorney, this city, residing on the Capital Trail, on the road to Newark; John Carroll, 3002 Harrison Street; six grandchildren and five nieces of the late Captain Philip Thomas, of this city survive. The later are living in Jacksonville, FL
Fueral services will be conducted from the residence on the Lancaster Pike, tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock, followed by requiem mass at St, Thomas Church at 9:30. Interment will be made at the Cathedral cemetery. ( Section 1-E, Center Plot, Lot 57)
