!A Brashear(s) Family History, Vol. 2 Robert C. Brashear of North Carolina and Some Descendants of Tn, Ky, Mo, Tx, etc.; Pg 44:
The LAND family historians claim another daughter for Robert C. Brashear and Charity Dowell: Charity Brashear, b. 1757 (according to her husband’s Rev war pension application). Charity (Dowell) Brashear would have been 46 when this child was born, some 9 years after Elizabeth (Brashear) Allen. It’s possible that Charity, b. 1757, was a "change of life" baby. There are no other eligible parents of record in Guilford Co, NC, at the time, so I’m tending to accept Charity as a daughter of Robert C. Brashear and Charity Dowell.
