!THOMAS BOON'S WILL - Written March 14, 1796:
In the name of God amen, I Thomas Boon of the County of Northampton, being in perfect health but thanks be to God of good disposing sence and memory calling to mind the uncertainty of this transitory life, am willing to make my will and dispose of my estate as followeth.
First I bequeathe my soul to Almighty God that gave it, and my body to be buried at the discretion of my executors, my funeral expenses discharged and debts paid.
Item, my desire is that my son William Boon's widow shall have the use of two negros Bob and Simon until my son William Boon's children come to lawful age and then to be equally divided between his children, being the part that I alloted to give my son William Boon.
Item, my desire is that my son-in-law Joseph Boon shall have the use of two negros Guy and Bet until my daughter Mary Boon children comes to lawful age then I give and bequeathe to my grandson Thomas Boon son of my daughter Mary Boon, Guy, to him and his heirs forever, and Bet and her increase to be equal divided between my daughter Mary's three children William, Mary and Bennit being the part that I alloted to give to my daughter Mary.
Item, I give and bequeathe to my daughter Martha Gay two negroes Aillis and Pol they and their increase to her and her heirs forever.
Item, my desire is that my daughter Cela Wheeler may have the use of one negro woman named Pat during her life and then to be equally divided her and her increase between my daughter Sela Wheeler's children to them and their heirs forever.
Item, my desire is that my son Nicholas Boon shall have the plantation where on he now lives and the use of one negro man Jim during his life and then return to his brothers, half-brothers and sissters that is living at that time to them and their heirs forever.
Item, I give and bequeathe to my son James Boon one half of the tract of land that I bought of James Winborne and three negroes Charlet Joseph and Beck and increase to him and his heirs forever.
Item, I give and bequeath to my son John Boon the other half of that tract of land he now lives on and two negroes Agga and Dick to him and his heirs forever.
Item, I give and bequeathe to my son Jesse Boon the tract of land that I bought of Thomas Hayes and two negroes Aibba and Jacob to him and his heirs forever.
Item, I give and bequeathe to my son Thomas Boon the tract of land that I bought of John Ware and three negroes Jonas Ples and Jorge and increase to him and his heirs forever.
Item, I give and bequeathe to my son Henry Boon the parcel of land that I bought of William Brewer and Matthew Griffin and four negroes Lonnen and his son Lonnen, and Inda and her daughter Inda and increase to him and his heirs forever.
And I do leave my son Henry Boon and Richard Whitaker my Executors of this my last will and testament revoking and disallowing of any for any other will or wills by me made and this I own to be my last will and testament In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this the 14th day of March 1796.

This will was proved by the oaths of Lemuel Nicholas and John Nicholas subscribing witnesses thereto, at the same time Henry Boon qualified Executor. Ordered to be certified recorded
