In the name of God Amen I John Wynns of Bertie County at Winnson being (I thank God) in my proper sense. . . .
names son John Boon, daughter Mary Ann, son Watkin William, wife Sarah, daughter Sarah Amelia, son John Augustus, daughter Wynney Caroline; my ___ apprentice Anne Reason...if she marries with my wife's consent; ...wife to have the use and profits until respective legatees are of age to wit my sons at twenty years old each and my daughters at sixteen years old ...
Witnesses were Jos. Wynns, Stephen Hooker, Will Hookerson, Ephraim Hunter, and Benjamin Baker. Executors were wife Sarah, brothers Benjamin and William and sons James Boon Wynns and Watkin William Wynns.
Clerk Benj. Wynn. "Bertie Co May Court 1753 . . . the above written will was exhibited into court by Sarah Wynns, Benjamin Wynns, and William Wynns, three of the Excts. therein named and proven by oaths of Joseph Wynns, William Hooker, jr. and Benjamin Baker, Jr., three of the subscribing witnesses
