!Transcribed Document: Know all men by there presents that we Andrew Chew and James Cann are held and firmly bound unto James Garrard Esq. Gov. of the Commonwealth in just and full sum of fifty pounds current money to the which payment well and anty to be made we bind ourselves our heirs & sons and adms. Jointly and severally firmly by these prsents sealed with our seals and dated this 26th day of April 1797 ----
The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas a marriage is intended to behad and solemized between Andrew Chew and Anna Mariah Barthish now if there is no just cause to obstruct the same then the above obligation to voide else to remain in full force and virtue.
