Robert L. Sheppard, son of William M. Sheppard, was in Jackson Co. at the time of his sister Margaret wedding, but after that there is no record.
When William M. Sheppard applied for his marriage license in 1866, it showed on the license, that Robert and Ruth were his parents, and William Presley Enoch and Patsey Enoch, was Mary Enoch Parsons parents. Wirt Co. WV. Courthouse.
