CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE: Henderson Parsons, son of Travis & M. Parsons, married to Mary E. Enoch, daughter of Presley & E. Enoch, he was 31 she was 19, married in Wirt Co.WV.January 18, 1855.
CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE: William M. Sheppard, son of Robert & Ruth Sheppard, married to Mary E. Parsons, daughter of Presley & Patsey Enoch, he was 50 she was 33, married in Wirt Co. WV. April 10,1866.
Mary Enoch Parsons Sheppard died of Labor Pneumonia, in Union District April 25, 1912. She was 80 years, 7 months, 20 days at death. Her occupation was given as Housewife. It also said she was a Widow. Death was reported by J.H.Ferguson on page # 59.

of Emma is listed)
CENSUS: 1910 Jackson Co. WV. list Mary as age 77 living with son-in-law Charles A. Parsons and her daughter Margaret (Maggie) age 43 in (Ravenswood District).Source: F. D. Shepherd (1998-99).
