Notes for Edward R. Bradley
!From information provided by Terry Bradley; 9790 S Prairie Rd; Tillamook, OR 97141; Kebet@@pacifier.com :
Edward was a Revolutionary Soldier. He witnessed a deed in Surry Co, NC in Nov. 1783 and appeared on the 1786 Surry Co Census.
He was not mentioned in his father's will, dated 20 Sep 1784, but he may have been provided for outside of the will. His name is on the Fayette Co, KY tax records of 1787 along with his brother, Leonard K. Bradley, indicating that he did have land in his name.
He later settled at Ft. Boonesboro, KY soon after the Rev. War, then later moved to Austin, TX
about 1821 with Stephen F. Austin's "Old Three Hundred" and raised his large family. [Source for Edward's children from Sylvia Miller, 7407 Valburn Dr., Austin, TX 78731 (512) 345-0793]
