Elizabeth Taylor (1755-1828) married Andrew Glassell (1738-1827) issue nine children, one of whom, Andrew Glassell (1793-1873) married Susanna Thornton (1804-1836) and became the g-grandparents of Gen. George Smith Patton (1885-1945) of WW II fame.
