!Assessment records in County Commissioner's office: "Philip was born in 1722 and emigrated to this country with his parents and sisters Mary Magdalen and Anna Barbara in 1731. In 1748 he owned 200 acres of land, 100 of which were cleared. He also owned 3 horses, 20 sheep and 6 cows. In 1769 he owned 235 acres of land with only 100 acres cleared. He also owned 5 horses, 10 sheep and 4 cows.

Philip's children were: John, Barbara, Eve, Jacob & Mary." (there were more than this, probably born later)
