Notes for Hugh F. Roberts

!From "A Brashear(s) Family History", Vol 3 by Charles Brashear, page 72: Hugh was in the Civil War. An epidemic of measles broke out and Hugh caught them, but there was no place to care for the sick. A lady offered her house to them, but when they arrived, she wasn't quite ready for them to come into the house; so they had to sit outside in a wagon. Hugh died during the wait, probably of exposure.
