In 1802, Jonathan Tallent Sr and Fanny Soward bought 25 acres in Rutherford Co, NC, from John Liles, and sold it in 1810. The William C. Tallent who was admr of the estate of Amanda's brother, Basil Roberts, in Dent Co, MO, may have been a son.
