!WILL of PETER PHIPPS, Wayne Co., KY, Will Book A, p. 210, Proved 24 Feb 1874, Made 1 July 1873:
Know all men by these presents that I Peter Phipps of the county of Wayne and state of Kentucky do now publish upon my last will and testament to dispose of my estate as follows both real and personal as follows To viz my will and desire is that my dear wife Nancy Phipps to have all that I now own during her lifetime. 2nd. after her death my will & desire is should there be anything to be equally divided between my children with the exception of my son, Eli Phipps, he has had his part heretofore this is my will and desire as witnessed my hand this 1st. day of July 1873.
