STURGIS, CORNELIUS. Philadelphia. May 20, 1704
I, Cornelius Sturgis, of the City of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, being very sick and weak of body and of reasonably good understanding-have thought fit to make last will and Testament and as to that little of this worldly wealth as I enjoy, after all my just debts are paid, and other charges defrayed, My Will is
I give and bequeath unto my loving wife, Elizabeth Sturgis, all my land and plantation at tbe Whitemarsh or thereby within this County of Phila. with all my personal Estate whatsoever. In order to pay both mine and my father's debts. To hold the said land, plantation, and personal Estate unto my said wife Elizabeth, her heirs and assigns forever and as to my real estate in Philadelphia left by my father to me and my heirs, my Will is that the same be equally divided amongst my children. only the profits thereof to go to my wife in order to bring them up until they come of age, and I do hereby order my said wife Elizabeth to be my Executrix of this my last will and testament.

Will proved-having at time of his death goods, rights and credits in divers places within the said province and territories. 20th day of May, 1704. Registrar General, I. MOORE
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 13th day of the 2nd month, April, Anno Domini, 1704.
