Married Mary CREW on 17 DEC 1778. Mary was expelled by the Quakers on 3 MAR 1781 for marrying outside the faith. William was born & died in New Kent Co., VA. William enlisted in the Continental army on 4 JAN 1781 in New Kent Co., VA. Granted a Revolutionary War pension of $20 per year on 11 SEP 1833 at age 73. His widow was granted a widows pension of $20 per year on 29 APR 1845, retroactive to his death.
