!David Roberts died before 1848 "with fever" according to his father's bible record. In 1840, David's widow and ten-year old daughter were living in her father's home in Roane County, TN. The marriage records show that Nimrod Underwood was married 29 May 1854 to Ann Roberts, David's widow.
