!Dow, Joseph, "History of Hampton, N.H., 1638-1892," (1893), pg. 690, #VI.: Abraham, Jr. was the oldest son of Abraham. Second of 7 children. He was a Selectman of Hampton in 1696, 1703, 1707 and 1708. He was a juryman in 1698. He was one of 8 owners of the brigantine "Increase," a 40-ton ship that traded with Boston and was built at "Hampton Common Landing Place."
