Notes for Grace Ethelwyn Bird

!Obituary of Grace E. B. Hickling - Mrs. Grace Ethelwyn Bird Hickling, widow of Roland F. Hickling, former Philadelphia stock broker and prominent oarsman, died of bronchial pneumonia at 1:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bertram S. Balch, of 442 Gainesboro road, Drexel Park. Her home was at Ventnor, N.J. A native of Marcus Hook, Mrs. Hickling was a daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Gustavus C. Bird, her father being rector of St. Martin's Prostestant Episcopal Church. She lived in Swarthmore for 20 years before moving to Ventnor. Besides her daughter, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Marian Patrick, of Ridley Park; two brothers, Harold E. Bird, of Lansdowne, and Dr. Gustavus C. Bird, of Philadelphia, and two grandsons. Funeral services services will be held at 1820 Chestnut street, Philadelphia, at 11 a.m. tomorrow with burial in Woodland cemetery.
