!Birth recorded at a Monthly Meeting of West River, "John Watters ye son of ye above said John and Eliza his wife was born ye 10n of ye 5h mo. 1696". He did not follow the strict teachings of the Quakers, but on February 14, 1720, according to the records of All Hallow's Parish, he married Mary Iiams. She was the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Plummer) liams.
