Notes for Dewalt Mechling

In 1783, the tax lists him as owning 200 acres, 2 horses, 2 cows and 1sheep. Dewalt left a will, but his youngest daughter who was not born until some four months later, is not mentioned in the will. After Dewalt's death, Anna Maria or Mary as she was usually known, married Ludwick ( Louis) Bonsey and they moved to Fairfield County, Ohio with her children . She is buried under the name of Mary Bonsey, next to her son, Jacob in White Church Cemetery (E.U.B.) Pleasant Township., Fairfield County, Ohio.
