Children listed (born in VA) are: Mary (dau b. 1807 - 43); Sarah (dau b. 1815 - 35); Mildred (dau b. 1818 - 32); Eliza (dau b. 1820 - 30); and Jerome (son b. 1822 - 28). In the name of God, Amen: I Zachariah Taylor of the County and State above written, feeble in body, but of sound mind and disposing memory, do make and constitute this my Will and Testament.
1stly I desire that my Executor hereinafter named, shall pay all of my just debts and my funeral expenses.
2ndly After this payment of all say and just debt and my funeral expenses, I hereby give to my beloved wife Susanna Taylor, all my estate lich __ and personal to have and to use as she may desire, during her natural life.
3rdly I desire after the death of my beloved wife, Susanna Taylor, that fifty acres of my land shall be ____ by my daughters Mary Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Mildred Taylor and Eliza Taylor, wherever they may think best and the said fifty acres shall be reserved for their special ends so long as all or any one of Them shall remain unmarried. Should one or any (short of all) choose to marry or should die, her ___ interest in the s'd fifty acres of land , shall revert to her single ones or one, in event of all of them marrying or dying, the s'd fifty acres of land shall be sold and the proceeds, there of, equally divide among all my children herein after named, which I give to them, their heirs, Executors Administrators assigns forever.
4thly I desire, after the death of my beloved wife, Susanna Taylor, that except the fifty acres of land above reserved, all my trust of land shall be sold, by my Executor herein after named and he is hereby authorized to convey to the purchaser purchase of s'd land, all right and title _____, to it, and the pavements there of shall be divided, equally among all my children, To Wit, Nancy S___, formally Nancy Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Lucretia Samuel, formally Lucretia Taylor, Zachariah Taylor, Eli Taylor, Paschal Taylor, Henry Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Abraham Taylor, Mildred Taylor, Eliza Taylor, and Jerome Taylor, which I give to them, their heirs, Executors, Administrators assigns forever.
5thly I desire after the death of my beloved wife Susanna Taylor that all house hold and kitchen furnitures together with the stock of ____, hogs and a horse of which I may also possesses shall be equally divided among my ____ daughters Mary Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Mildred Taylor and Eliza Taylor, which I give to them, their heirs, Executors, Administrators assigns forever.
6thly In the event of my dying possessed of, or in___ indebted to any, their property or interest, of what ____ of kind ____ it may be, not herein before partientaly disposed of , I desire, after the death of my beloved wife, Susanna Taylor, it ____ be equally divided among my survived children herein before named, which I to their heirs, Executors, Administrators and assigns forever.
And lastly, I do _____ constitutes and appoint my friend William Alx. Hill Executor of this my last Will and Testament, ____ revoking all others, or former wills and testaments heretofore made by me.
