!Note: The 1850 census of Henrietta, NY says that Asa was 48, but the 1855 census of Henrietta says that Asa was 67 (!). His gravestone says he died on Sept. 1, 1864 at age 70, which, if correct, places his birth at about 1794. The 1855 NYS census said he was born in Livingston Co., which did not exist until 1821. He was probably born in the SW part of the Town of Hartford, Ontario Co., which became Avon in 1808, and ended up in Livingston Co., NY in 1821.

ALSO LISTED are: William Rhine (b. 1831 - 19 - in Ireland - Occ: Laborer); and Eliza Sevants (b. 1832 - 18 - in Germany)
