HAMMOND- Mrs. Mary Francis Hammond 76, Excelsior Springs, died unexpectedly at her home yesterday. She was born in Hampton, Mo. And was the widow of Dr. Perrin Skinner. Platte City, who died in 1937, and her second husband Richard Hughes Hammond who died in 1953. She was a member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Smithville. She leaves two brothers J. W. Rixey, Plattsburg, Mo. And Jesse J. Rixey. 3939 Bell and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Shephard, 2306 Swift. North Kansas City: Mrs. Harmon G. Knighton 910 South Main, Independence and Mrs. Palmer Sill. Levington Mo. Funeral services will be at 11 o'clock Saturday at the Pritchard funeral home. Excelsior Springs; burial in Platte City cemetery.
