!Obituary from the "Indiana Progress Newspaper", May 7, 1913:
Mr. Hugh Lowry, of Parkwoood, who died April 18 of pneumonia, was a lifelong resident of that section, and was aged 83 years, four months and 20 days. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Dessie Manease and Miss Lois Lowry, of Allegheny; Mrs. Martha B. Carnahan, Mrs. Nannie Adams, L.D. and Frank Lowry, of Parkwood. The deceased was a member of the Curry Run Presbyterian Church and the funeral services were conducted by his pastor. Rev. Offutt, of Elderton. Interment followed in the Union Cemetery in Armstrong Township.
