Notes for Abraham Wilbur
Abraham and Anna (Arnold) Wilbur were early pioneers of Jackson County, Ohio, arriving before 1820. They lived just outside of Hamden on the road to McArthur (presently Vinton County). Both died in the 1870's and were buried in the Paine Cemetery. This graveyard has been vandalised and the Wilbur graves have not been located.
The Wilbur's youngest daughter, Electra, married Charles W. McKinniss. Electra and Charles' youngest daughter, Sadie, married Frederic W. Cook and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1908, after having lived in Welston for many years. Sadie's sister is Mrs. John Lively of Jackson who was the organizer of the clean-up of Paine Cemetery
