Mary was the only child that survived her father. She married (2) Samuel Hunt March 10, 1774 in Boston. The female line perpetuated the stock and John Dixwell V, aka Samuel Hunt (Harvard College 1796; M.B. 1800, M.D. 1811) a descendant of Judge John Dixwell, was permitted to assume surname of the Regicide - Legislative Act. 1802.
